Ingredients:
- ~1/2 cup sugar to caramelize
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 inch of regular milk from bottom of blender (mom’s description π€£ I think it’s a cup?)
- pinch of salt
Steps:
- Heat sugar in small pan on medium-high heat with 1/2 teaspoon of water. Stir occassionally until sugar melts and is a golden color. Remove from heat as it will still be melting.
- Pour into an oven safe pyrex dish or baking pan
- Add condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and regular milk, salt into the blender and blend for a minute until all mixed together
- Pour into a pyrex or oven safe pan
- Bake in a water bath at 350Β°F until a knife can through it cleanly (or what my mom calls βa little wiggle on topβ π)
- Cool in fridge for a few hours or ideally, overnight
- When ready to serve, flip into deep service dish or pan
